The 3M™ Trizact™ Cloth Belt 237AA utilizes proprietary 3M microreplication technology to deliver highly consistent, predictable finishes on hard metals such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and specialized alloys. Unlike conventional abrasives, the 237AA features micron-graded aluminum oxide particles formed into precise, three-dimensional pyramids. As these microscopic pyramids wear down during use, they continuously expose fresh, sharp mineral to the workpiece. This self-sharpening mechanism ensures a steady cut rate and an exceptionally uniform finish from the beginning of the belt’s life to the very end.

Constructed on a durable yet semi-flexible X-weight cloth backing, the 237AA provides the stiffness required for effective medium-pressure grinding while maintaining the flexibility needed to seamlessly follow the contours of complex parts. Available in a wide range of micron grades—from the highly aggressive A160 (approx. 100 grit) down to the ultra-fine A6 (approx. 2500 grit)—this belt is indispensable in critical manufacturing sectors like aerospace and medical device fabrication.
